• Find the Library of Congress web site using Google or another search engine. It looks like this.

1. Then click on Kids and Families and then click on Lifelong Literacy.
2. Look at the book at the top of the page. Read the text that goes with each page.
3. When you are ready, ask your teacher for headphones.
4. When you are ready to watch and listen, click on WATCHVIDEOAD.
5. After watching it twice, do the exercise.
6. Watch the second video for parents on this page.
7. Find out the differences in the text you hear in the video.
8. Now write a little essay about you and reading. Do you agree with the ad from the Library of Congress website? Have you ever read an amazing book? If so, which one?
