The Normands lived in Scandinavia (Sweden, Denmark, Norway).

In these countries, there was a lot of population and their territory was not good to grow fruit.

The Normands became "Vikings". They went West to find more fertile territory.

They went to Canada, Greenland, Iceland, United Kingdom, France, Spain and Russia. They came from Scandinavia.

The problems they had were storms, icebergs, rough seas and sea waves.

They travelled on foot, on horse and by ship.
