Saint Patrick came to Saint-Exupery!

Thanks to whom? … To miss Barrau and her little leprechauns… It was a show of green! “
Saint Patrick's Day is the most important celebration in Ireland. It takes place not only in Ireland but also all around the world from the 13th to the 17th of March.

For these 5 days and nights, everyone dresses up in green! In the streets, they listen to Irish music, play and watch street performances, they dance the Irish dances, do treasures hunts and nights shows… They eat Irish stew with cabbage, corned beef, Saint Patrick's Day cookies or cheesecakes, and they drink the most delicious beer (Guinness). So it's in Ireland where you can enjoy Ireland’s biggest party!

At St Exupéry, our school celebrated St Patrick’s on March 16th!! The famous class of European Section directed the project!
We exhibited posters about the Irish Landscapes, food, and St Patrick festival at the CDI!
And our imagination did not stop there ...WE MADE typical IRISH HATS OF LEPRECHAUNS! We displayed posters to encourage everybody to wear green on this day!

Everyone played the game, it was a show of green! During the week before the D-day we sang Molly Malone’s song.
On 16th before singing, we painted Irish flags on our face … All the cakes that we cooked were devoured by the students of Terminale! They started eating all the cakes before we started the song … They were a real Band of little PIGS :-)
So be ready! Next year we will organize A GREATER FESTIVAL!
