The main theme of the congress is the ethical dimension of Agrifood policies. Through a series of plenary lectures the theme will be approached at different levels: local, national/regional and global. The keynote speakers are prominent social scientists, philosophers and policymakers.
On top of the plenary sessions there is a very rich programme of contributed papers. 64 paper have been selected, covering the following subjects: Animal Bioethics (12), Plant Genomics and Ethics (4), Ethics and Public Debate (8), Ethics of Food Chains (4), Property Rights (3), Precautionary Principle (5), From Consumer attitude to Consumption Policies (10), Ethics relating to International Trade and Public Policies (9), Ethical Tools (9).
Furthermore the conference offers you the opportunity to participate in workshop covering the following subjects: Teaching bioethics, Economy and ethics and Creativity in ethics.
